was going to get a x2 3800 am i right in saying i should get a opteron 165 and o/c it instead?
just a couple of Q's

1 - this is a dual core chip?
2 - will it perform better than a x2 3800?
3 - i'll need some new mem for the o/c what? (i'm on a a8v sli deluxe) also in stock in the uk!
4- or should i be looking at something else?

2 - will it perform better than a x2 3800?Yes it should easily O/C past 3800+ specs friends is at 2.5ghz

The 165 should perform the same or better than an X2 3800 AT STOCK, only because if the 2mb cache, the x2 has only 1mb cache.
