I have Unbuntu 10 running on my media server and connecting to it from my Mac seems to be hit or miss.

I am running OSX Lion 10.7.1 and sometimes it will show the shared drive in Finder, and other times it won't. I guess it depends on whether or not it picks it up at bootup?

Rebooting seems to fix it but even then it's hit or miss and 50/50 odds it seems.

Is there a way to find my Ubuntu samba share on Lion, even if it doesn't show up on the leftnav of Finder?

Thanks

Beauty! Thanks!

Now I wonder why Finder won't show the device for me sometimes under the "Shared" section on the leftnav?

XBMC from Ubuntu 10 also has a hard time connecting to my OSX Lion SMB share.
I figured it was something that OSX would resolve since SMB worked perfectly with Snow Leopard and Ubuntu 10. (Yet so far it's still borked with 10.7.1)
