You could do the noob way and use the auto feature.
haha, auto overclocking on the ASUS sli boards is like telling your delayed friend to have at your mobo with a solder iron and a blunt object. It just doesnt work.

try the auto RAM timing feature and then see what you can do with the FSB in the 'jumperfree' menu

I use it. My ram is officially teh sux, so I just set the auto feature (not NOS) to 10%.

Go into "Advanced" Then into "Jumper Free" set CPU clock where it gives you Auto, Manual and AI NOS to manual, F10 to save and exit, then go right back into the bios, and you will see some more options unlocked. Once you get to that point, post away!

You could get much more outta that bad boy (CPU) with just little effort, set your RAM speeds a notch lower (266mhz maybe) and raise your FSB...

I've tried dividers, I don't like them. I'm happy with 2420mhz, I can play anything at totally maxed on my 22". I like where my CPU is now too because of the crazy low temps for a stock cooler.

Yeah here's the kicker Ladies and gents. I used the AI NOS @ 10%

I go from 2400MHz to 2401 :S It's ****in BRUTAL. I KNOW my board is good, and my chip is fine. I tried the manual overclock, but Im used to a DFI board. It's nowhere NEAR the same, so Im lost.

There is no way to drop my RAM divider on here btw. It's all automatic

I hav eto swap over a handfull of options to "Manual" and then go from there. Only kicker is.... I dont know what to keep Manual and what to go with Automatic :S

Don't use NOS, it's a waste and is slower than just overclocking it.

Go into CPU settings> Ram Settings> Ram Speed and kick it down a notch. Raise your FSB manually and see what that does.

My motherboard is the best on the market....and rightfully so. I can push all 505 watts rms outta mt Logitech z-5500's with ease, and blow past that....close to the DEAFENING 1000 wats with my onboard. I have never had a single hickup with the board....nor do I see one in teh near future. GREAT mobo.....LOVE the look...and the options

Dude.... 12x multiplier on a 4600+ X2......IMAGINE the possibilites once I get my Opty 170

Sorry for the news, but S939 is "old" now. Your speaker power has nothing to do with the motherboard's onboard sound... The high end ASUS boards are usually the best (or near it) for overclocking.
