I've got the 4x8Gb G.Skill Sniper 1866 Cas10 kit and I'm trying to see what they can do. I've ran them at 1600 Cas9 and 1866 Cas10, but am trying to see how far I can push them with reasonable voltages.

Kit: G.SKILL Sniper Gaming Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model F3-1866C10Q-32GSR

So far this is the most I've been able to push them and have them stable (note: Bios is P9X79 Deluxe 3305):

Any thoughts on how to improve the timings and/or speed? As you can see, I haven't really played with secondary or tertiary timings. I can run Command Rate of 1T with 1600/1866 though.

Update: More testing

Here are some Super PI results and memtest for 2133:

VCCSA: 1.20v
VTT: 1.20v
vDimm 1.65v

I actually get better SuperPI score with 1866 Cas 10. I can run lower voltages, get better SuperPI and run command rate of 1T:

VCCSA: 1.10v
VTT: 1.10v
vDimm: 1.50v

In general case, I would start by testing out how low the four primary timings and command rate are going to go.
After that, you can switch to the secondaries, starting with REF Cycle Time, RAS to RAS Delay and Read to PRE Time.
Note however, that in daily use you're not going to notice any significant difference, so memory tweaking might not be worth the time invested.

P.S. If you could take a peek at the first 6-7 digits of serial numbers of your modules (SN is on the actual modules) then it would be possible to tell the ICs (memory chips) your Snipers are based on and give more specific advice.

That's how I've gotten to where I am at. I've been able to roughly tune the OC to where it is by adjusting the primary timings. I just haven't adjusted the voltages too much, nor have I adjusted the secondary timings.

Unfortunately the 32Gb Sniper kits are not reviewed or tested by overclockers. So there is little information on them. I picked them up for $109 during Black Friday, so I swapped out my 32Gb of the Samsung 30nm memory to reduce the number of dimms.

Here is the serial number for the kit. I can't find anything about them though when I searched:

Hmm is that so. From my benches I found cas 11 and 2100 or so I had the highest numbers. Maybe I should try it at 10 for a while.

have you tried lowering the ras to act timing and command mode?

You are correct, I was mistaken... I just checked and I get the following:

Super PI 2133 Cas 11 = 07m 55.312s

Super PI 1866 Cas 10 = 07m 56.687s

I thought it was the other way around... They are pretty close though, and 1866 needs much less voltage to the ram.
