overclocking Crossfire.

Ericeod just came by we tried to oc the 4850's and they dont move w/out failing

we can manage to pass 3dmark06 with one card clocked, 2nd stock but only gain 23 points.

19002 no oc on the cards

19023 with one card oc'd from 625 to 650 and mem- 993 to 1025

this seem right?

if we try to oc the 2nd card, it just fails.

Temps are fine. one card sits at 40c other at 50c.

any ideas would be appriciated.

make sure the power pins are pushed in as much as they can go.

Thats where I'd start.

its in. trust me. two bridges. makes no sense.

Are you hooked to the top card or lower card? are the bridges the right way? they are marked J1 & J2 on the back. I think J1 would be the card you are hooked to.

its connected to the top. card. but a lil confused on what the "right way is"

You and me both..I am setting up mt CF on my Rampage MB also

The guild says

in CrossFire mode install master graphics card in primary PCI slot. and shows a pic of both slots??

I can only get a display when hooked to the lower card.
