So guys I have a Sapphire Vapor-X 7950 and I have overclocked it to 1160/1500 @ 1125mV.

I can't seem to push it any further with these volts and I have never touched volts when overclocking, so I thought I'd ask what you guys think.

Whats a good stable voltage? Providing I have decent temps?
Whats a max suggested voltage?

that's dependent on your card, each one is different.

Most of the OC utilities wont let you increase the voltage to unsafe levels, so you should be fine no matter what you do.

that having been said, most people dont like to go over 1.25 or 80 degrees loaded for 24/7 use.

Looks like you have a low voltage chip, so my guess is you will already hit a wall at around 1.23-1.25V.

I suggest you go in small steps. In my view, your 1160MHz at 1125mV is a very good compromise. From that point on you will generate heat, noise but comparatively little performance.

I run 1150MHz @ 1137mV on my Vapor-X for demanding apps, and 1000MHz @ 1.02V for all others (very cool and quiet this setting, avg temps ~55C and fan ~45%).
For benchmarks, my vapor-x will do 1250-1260MHz @ 1.23V before artifacting, but this makes very little sense in daily use.
