so im trying to oc my q9300 to around 3.4.
i dont know what the multiplier should be as in 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5.
and what my vcore should be.

also when trying to oc my ram
i set timings to 4/4/4/12 but after saving and restarting system fails and reboots again right after the reboot reseting other bios settings too.

the ratio i get in Cpu-z is 5:6
and i want the optimal i can get.

Thanks alot in advance

Try changing your timings to 5/5/5/12. That should help your system to boot. What speed are you overclocking them to?

Specs:

Gigabyte GA-EX38-DS4
Intel core 2 Quad 9300 @ 3.2GHz w/Noctua NF P12
Geforce 9800gx2
Corsair TX 750w PS
Corsair 2 x 2gb @ 5/5/5/18 xms2 ddr2 ram DHX or something, with the cooling case.
Antec P182 Case

cpu-z says my ram is 5/7/7/24 overclocked to 3.30ghz
maybe its because my ram is on auto
