Overclocking Quad-Core Q8200 INTEL [HELP PLZ]?

hello i have a pc with quad q8200 and Kingston 2GB DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM @ 400MHZ x2 and a Foxconn G31MX Mobo..

my question is do you have to overclock your RAM first before overclocking your cpu cause i cant get an normal overclock with stock voltage and other things (i turned EIST and Intel Speedstep off and Spread Spectrum).

i cant even overclock my cpu from 333mhz to 345 mhz (if i do that it wont even show my boot screen).

i saw that many people reached easily high overclocks with stock voltage and things....

thats silly right?

Drop your ram divider down from 800 to 667 bump up your cpu freq up 10mhz and boot.
currently is cpu 333mhz, so it has to be 343?

Yeah and ram overclocks as CPU overclocks. You always overclock CPU first.

You can try more then 10MHz, but new OCers have an easier time moving up in 10MHz increments.
