Well i'd like to overclock, but there seems to be a few problems. first off here are the specs

4600 x2 SKT939
DFI Lanparty UT SLI board
XFX 7900gt
1gig (2x 512) of Corsair XMS
Aspire(Apevia) 520w PSU
Stock cooling

Well heres the problem: the computer is currently running, but not at stock speeds. The memory is non Dual channel at 166mhz, when rated at 200mhz. I know how to change it back, but i had to put the divider in to keep the computer stable. I want the FSB : RAM at 1:1, but it doesnt seem to accept the DC very well. Im not sure if other people have the same problem but im just curious.

The 4600x2 should be overclockable, and id like to mess with it. but first off id like the memory running dual channel and at stock speeds.

Thanks

add more voltage to the ram for stability, also, loosen the timings

Are the RAM modules simular in default timings and do they have the same DDR rating?
Some dissimular ICs can be a headach!

Most can take 2.8v safely.

1st use orange slots
then enable memtest in bios and run a few loops
wich bios are you using...?
for generic ram i would advice the last official......4-06 if my memory doesnt fool me

make sure you have all the 4 power conectors plugged in to the board......i saw a few older revisions that needed all 4 to work correctly

good luck
