I've had a google and can't find much on using the fsb to overclock with p67/z68. I can get a bit of a better overclock by increasing from 100.0 to about 104.4sih but I remember reading somewhere that the fsb is linked with pcie and sata controllers or something. Can anyone shed any light ?

it tends to corrupt data..not worth it IMO

!! back down to stock then !! Only been running it like that for a few hours so I should be ok .

With Sandy Bridge, it's in your best interest not to touch the FSB at all. Getting that extra little boost is not worth risking corrupt data in my opinion.

I ran @ 104.7 with 4xHDDs and 1xSDD for at least a month.... never had any noticeable corruption.
