I've got a gigabyte 7950 that's under water and I'm having some issues with what I assume is stability on my overclock. basically i can get it stable at 1200/1600 at 1.3v in benchmarks and games.. the only problem is when logging into windows the display driver will fail and what not indicating a bad overclock of course. but even at less of a clock i have seen this happen. Again, I've played games with no problem. spent yesterday playing crysis 3. So i'm wondering if this is still related to the overclock or if it's possible that something driver/windows related is to blame.

Thanks.

What driver version are you using and what OS?

Is that the latest beta? The latest, beta6, might fix your issue if you haven't tried it. If the card doesn't crash in game, sounds like a driver problem to me. Have you tried any of the WHQL drivers like 13.1?

Thats what i was thinking. Yeah it was the bleeding edge driver that's supposed to have stability improvements for crysis 3.. So i think i'll give 13.1 a go and see if that clears the problem... thank you for your time.

well to be honest I've been using the same oc on this cpu for a few years now and it's never let me down... it only happens after the computer goes to sleep and then wakes up... if I restart and log in it works fine... it's a rather weird issue
