hey people, this might sound like a really stupid question but ive been looking around and i just want to be sure, as at the moment i'm not. Im going to buy a p182 but i would like a proper black one, do they sell them? lots of sites say they do but when u look closer there just (or look the same as) the grey metal ones, maybe its just my eyes... i live in the UK so i cant get american products. thanks for reading.

I maybe wrong but I don't think they sell a black p182. They have the gunmetal like you said and they have that mirror finished one. There is always the p180b which is cheap at the egg right now, too bad they don't ship to the uk.

right ok thanks, i looked for like two hours today because i kept looking at sites that had mixed the p180 and p182 pictures up! ta for help, plus wats the difference between the p180b and the p182?

From what I have read the p182 has two holes in the back with rubber grommets for water cooling if you want to do that. There is better cable management and there is a fan controller switch in the back for the stock fans. I'm not quite sure if there are others, probably some smaller details.

P182 comes in gun metal black finish, i bought one and its great, i will post some pics later if u got time.

that'd be great, but are you sure its not what some sites might refer to gunmetal grey because tht finish does look very black? also could you tell me were you got it from?

I got my P180B several weeks ago and it was version 1.1 so it had all the major features of the P182 (rear rubber gromets for water cooling, rear fan controllers, improved cable management features, etc.) while still having a solid black-colored exterior. If you haven't ordered the P182 yet, you can still check with certain stores if they are selling v 1.1 of the P180B.

I got mine from Frys in the USA when there was a nice deal going on. It was $50 USD after rebate (original price was $100 USD with free shipping).

People have reported to receive the updated P180B from Newegg, so you might be successful in landing the right case.

i have the p180 in silver but go with the p182 unless you want black (p180b). the p182 only comes in gun metal grey and another is in a chrome or mirror finish. the p182 has slots behind the mobo tray for wire management. makes things a lot easier. you win with either one though as they are both great cases. if you got the money check out the p190 lol.
