Well i know that, but why is it labeled as a B55 in CPU-z and not a 955, PS not all chips have defects, some are just locked to meet dual core demands, which is what i have.Originally Posted by DaJinx;13042957
Two of the four cores are found to be defective in one way or another during testing so they are disabled and the CPU is sold as Dual Core.
lol, IT IS CURRENTLY UNLOCKED. It is now a quad core with 4 cores having a core count of 4, i know AMD locked it and now they didnt..........WHY is it called a B55 and not a 955 like it should be?Originally Posted by dixson01974;13043085
AMD locked 2 of the core.
