Ok I bought the ASUS P5B Delux-Wifi (the wifi was the only p5d they had in stock) and I have Charter Communications cable internet, just a modem that runs cat5 to my LAN card. My old mobo had integrated LAN, and once I loaded up the drivers, my internet was up and running, because I don't need to log in or anything, well my P5B I installed all the LAN drivers, and the WIFI drivers, and I CANNOT get my internet to connect, the P5B has 2 LAN slots, and I have tried updated the drivers for the LAN, also I have tried disabling the WIFI by itself, and I've tried disabling all the LAN connections minus the one I'm plugged into, I have also tried WinSOCK, and at this very moment the icon is in the bottom right hand corner and says the usual - "Limited or no connectivity" Can anyone give me a pointer?

I'm such a newb, all I had to do was unplug my modem, and plus it back in, so it could work with my new LAN adapter.

That was exactly what I was going to suggest......

Don't feel bad, I once spent 45 minutes on tech support with Comcast trying to figure out why I had no connection on my Pentium D system with the P5WD2 Premium.......I finally realized when I had set the computer back up I had plugged it into the other LAN port (I only installed drivers for one as that's all I needed) LOL....felt kinda foolish that day.

Good that you got it working....
