Hi,
Well i was going to go for a GTX285ssc but i don't want to wait for them to be back in stock!
So now i'm looking at the ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 2048MB

But will it work with my NVIDIA Chipset Board

Thanks
Gary

Does that mean, i wont be able to use both cores on the card

Or, i just wont be able to add a second card

It just means you won't be able to use a second card. You will be able to use both cores on the 4870x2
Since the two GPUs are on the same PCB, it's a 'virtual' crossfire, with the crossfire control core being inside of the PCB itself, instead of on the motherboard as you would have with a dual card configuration.

Now, I'm not sure why you'd want a second 4870x2...

So, i wouldn't change any thing in the Bios

But i would have Crossfire controls in control panel!
And i would only get full force out of the card, if the game supported Crossfire

Exactly.

There's a tool out now that forces crossfire compatibility with all games, you might try looking into that if you're concerned about low performance.
