Hey!<br />

I'm just wondering why does this board have 4 PCI-x slot at 16x. I know that ATI is planning A 3 Card solution for phisics (tripple play if I'm not mistaken) but why 4 PCI-x slots???<br />
<br />
3 card CrossFire + 1 Card Physics???<br />

It's more for a professional build. 4 graphic cards means you could hook up 8 monitors. Not really a need for most people.<br />

ok.... thats nice. I havent thought of that this way. It's the gamer in me that make me thought ''OMG 4 PCI-x Slots, Quad SLI/CrossFire'' <img src="/images/smilies/wink.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Wink" class="inlineimg" /> Anyway thanks for the explanation <img src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />

</div>Its for the Use of 4 monitors. However 3 CF cards and 1 physics card is Plausible.

As others have said, yes, it's for multiple monitor support. These boards are primarly designed for workstation applications - it just so happens that they also overclock like mad <img src="/images/smilies/wink.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Wink" class="inlineimg" />
