I know that the Gigabyte UD4? motherboard can overclock each individual cores for an i7 k series.

ie.
1 core = 5GHz
2 cores = 4.6GHz
4 cores = 4.4GHz

My Asrock Extreme 4 doesn't seem to be able to do this, since it just overclocks all 4 cores at once.

Does anyone know if the Asus P8P67 Pro can overclock individual cores? Or if there are other mobos that can do so?

That's not individual cores, thats custom turbo settings lol

Example:
48x 1 Core on LOAD
47x 2 Cores on LOAD
46x 3 Cores on LOAD
45x 4 Cores on LOAD

Just because 4-core turbo is stable at 4.4ghz, doesn't mean 1-core turbo will be stable at 5ghz. Do you really want to go through the hassle of testing 1/2/3/4 cores at whatever speed you plan on running them to find the correct voltage to make it stable?

Just overclock all 4 cores and forget about it.

Dang I'm kinda jealous. Do you even use separate OCing or do you OC all 4 cores at a time?

I'm reluctant to give up my Asrock Extreme 4 though since it has an extremely convenient clear CMOS button on the back panel of the IO area.
