Painting the inside of a case

376 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  kevingreenbmx
I own a HAF 932, and Coolermaster in all their wisdom decided to not bother painting the inside black to match the outside.

So I need help and guidance in painting the inside black. This just needs to be cheap & cheerful, and not have to wait a month before I can put my components back in. A simple Matte black finish will do just nicely.

I built a computer with relative ease. But A simple task of painting steel perplexes me.

Any help appreciated

(P.S, I live in the UK.)

Well, you can either drill out all the rivets and paint the parts separately and then robot it back together, or you can use masking tape to carefully mask off everything you don't want to paint and leave it assembled. You will want to sand the metal so it is clean and has a good surface for the paint to adhere to. Then do 3-5 light coats of spray paint sanding lightly between them.
