Partition Confusion

Ok I already have my HDD with one larg partition. I have my stuff installed with Windows Vista and all that and was wondering if I could create a second partition to try out Windows 7. Thanks for any info.

This is on another build with an WD 640.

Definitely if you enough free space, like 30 gigs to feel comfortable you can use active Iso burner and this guide to help you install windows 7 on a new partition.
