If it is just the My Documents You can - Just drag n drop the contents as you cant actully delete the My Documents folder as it is a special folder in XP

Ok so you want to move my-documents right?<br />
<br />
I've done this numerous times during rebuilds, I use my 2nd harddrive to run my documents, etc, so that if I need 2 nuke windows, I don't have to go backing it up when it already is, and... My icons are restored instantly, <img src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" /><br />
<br />
Simply ON YOUR DESKTOP<br />
<br />
Right click PROPERTIES on "my documents"<br />
<br />
Go to the TARGET TAB<br />
<br />
And change it <img src="/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" /><br />
<br />
And it'll move everything there, or you MIGHT HAVE TO yourself, BUT!!! it'll be there! my pictures will target there, my music, EVERYTHING. <img src="/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" /><img src="/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" /><img src="/images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Big Grin" class="inlineimg" /><br />
<br />
Even any game profiles that are in "my documents" are located and directed there automatically as if it was always that way.<br />
<br />
Good luck mate!<br />

It should , but not initially, you'll probably need to reboot/ shut down fully / boot up fresh, presuming the target, and the files are in the same place.<br />
<br />
SHOULD work with the reboot, try it and do tell us if it does <img src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" /><br />

<br />
P.S. This is EASY to do, but not many people know about it, or at least not realize the possibilities with it <img src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />
