Password on Internet Explorer?

Hey everyone,

I'm just wondering if it's possible to put a password on internet explorer, the browser itself. I know I could just put a password on the user accounts, but I'm doing this for a place of business, and the install of windows is pretty broken and won't let me access the control panel without explorer.exe crashing instantly.

The goal of this is to have internet explorer require a password before you can use it to browse the internet...is this possible?

Thanks so much in advance!

Sounds like that machine has a lot more problems than just Internet Exploiter. It's probably due for a format and reinstall.

Yeah, belive me, it is.

The thing is, it's linked to the cash register among other things, and I don't want to be responsible for any down time or other issues, so they're probably going to have some more "official" reformat/reinstall.

Nevermind, I just deleted all the shortcuts except one and put it in a passworded archive. It obviously isn't foolproof, but it'll work in this situation.
