What do you mean by "one configuration"? You cannont RAID them, if thats what you mean. As for jumpers, jumpers are only used for drives on IDE channels, SATA does not use jumpers. What you could do is install both drives, configure them as dynamic drives in Windows and make a spanned volume across both drives. Then they would show up as one drive in My Computer.
sorry i should have made myself a bit clearer i want a drive as master and the other as storage on my sata drive there is a place for a jumper but it aint got one there to jump but all my info and o.s are on the pata and i just got a new sata drive and i want to add it into my system without any fuss
