Definitely looks worthy for modeling at school without going directly to a desktop.

Wow Lenovo stuff got cheap. My CoreDuo costed me ~$1800 after software, i5 2nd gen Sandy Bridge costed ~$800.

This is an i7 Sandy Bridge Quad (QM stuff are quad, everything i5 and below in the mobile stuff is hyperthreaded dual) but with a $400 *outdated* Quadro 2000M (K2000M replaces it)...
