ok....time for u to read up...but its a new socket of videocards, that has like 8x the bandwith so u can run way more powerful cards. but since no cards can take advantage of the speed because they arent fast enough, right now theres no difference between agp and pciE. u need a pciE mobo to use it, and it does not work with agp. pretty soon all videocards will be for pciE, but not for a year or so.
PCI express is a type of slot for video cards, it does primarily the same thing as agp but it goees 16x versus 2/4/8x so... that's pretty much what it is, though the mobo you have has to have pci-e slots.
