Looking to control fan speeds from my desktop
just to be clear im not interested in speed fan or anything like that i need hardware that goes with it.
my motherboard only has 4 fan slots and i wont be using ysplitters on my motherboard

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...acture=Sunbeam

want something similar to that that is readily available.
any reason i can't find any? or that no one uses them anymore?

if i can get one with digital sensors as well that would be cool.

If all you want to do is controll the fans from the desktop, try this, I am not sure if it will give you what you want, but its worth a try:

They were never really big to begin with. That Theta TP-101 is expansion device that comes to mind. I believe there was another one that supported less fans and was smaller....

The T-Balancer is a hardware/software controller but isn't an expansion slot one: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=20837

Yes a valid post on t balancer front! unfortunately thats the only place that stocks it. and the shipping prices are too high.
Great links... thanks guys.

Man I love this forum!

The t-balancer says it will control pelts.. how could this be... pelt draw a lot of power... wouldn't it melt the wires or burn the unit up?

They must be talking about some very small pelts?
