Alright so i have an ASUS P6T WS Revolution motherboard. I am going to start running a crossfire setup and I'm wondering if I have to run the cards in slots 1 and 3?
I would love to run them in 1 and 4 so that they will have more room to "breathe".

Does this sound like it will work? I have 100mm bridge and I think that it will reach.

It will work fine as long as the slots are the same speed. I guess they will be but on some motherboards with 2 slots one is 16x and the other is 8x. If they are both 16x they will work fine
Check your motherboard manual or their website if you can't find that info

i read the spec in ASUS..it says 1,3,5

Quote:

Expansion Slots 2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 slots (at x16 or x8 mode)
1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 slots (at x16 mode)
2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 slots (at x8 mode)
1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 slot (at x4 mode)
* True @ x16 3-Way SLIâ„¢ in slots 1, 3 and 5 when slots 2 and 4 are not occupied

i think 1 &3 , can u do 1 &5? are your bridge long enough to 5?

but i read this..i think it should work..the right side of the pic shows.

The crossfire bridge will only reach to the 4th slot. The MB manual says that they are all 16X slots, and that if your doing triple cards that you need to use slots 1 3 5. I guess I'll try it when my card comes in and check GPU-Z and see if it says 8 or 16x.
Thanks for your help guys.
