hey all,

So today I got a full version of PCMark 05, but when I try to run some benchies (I just select all of them) and hit start, it appears to do 1 single test, and then it says 'Test Aborted' even though I didn't touch anything..

Now, is this hardware related, or has this something to do with the program?

I have internet explorer 7, windows media player 10 and windows media codec thingy 9, so I meet the requirements.

You may find that it needs IE6 and not v7... check the requirements here

Ya ok thats true.. but it says 'minimum requirements' so you'd expect that a higher version would suffice, right?

And btw, I also get some weird error with 3DMark 05, wich I also have.

IDirect3DDevice9:resentFailed: Device lost (D3DERR_DEVICELOST)

I dont get this at all. I have Catalyst 6.9, the latest version of DX9.0C.. so *** is going on here??

Try running the tests at all stock settings, if these still fail then look at the OS and installed apps.
