So, I got a Pentium D 805 much to the demise of the comments of crap tacular fan/Warping motherboards? and the praise of overclockability.

Anyways, Stock fan, It used to idle 43C, 52C 50% load and 60C full load

until I started to test overclocking on stock just to get a jist of playing around till the new fan comes, then noticed the stock fan stopped doing 1800RPMS on full load and stay at 1000-1100RPM which superbly ticked me off, 950RPMS when 120MM fans in case set up...

Anyways.. Go into bios, and notice smart cpu fan control, I disable it, boom fan spins at 2500RPM-2600 Idle Temperature 32C, 50% load 40C, 100% 45-46C

Overclocked at 3200mhz it does Idle: 35C, 50% load 44C, and 100% 49C. ( quite literlly touch the HSF and its not that hot)

Why do people so badly talk about the stock fan? Anyways I have to wait another week till the store I go to has the zalman 9500's.

I dunno, Maybe it's because my condo is all 26C .. Seems weird the comments and my experience ;-;

I am running the stockf an on an 805--but at stock speeds because i have a crap tacular mobo that does not support OC at all. It seems okay--but is pretty loud.
