I'm looking to buy the MCR220 rad and have it shipped to me in Canada but NCIX doesn't seem ot have it in stock, nor will they for 3-6 weeks.

I'm thiinking of ordering it from Petras but does anyone have any experience with ordering from petras and having it shipped to canada? any customs fees/taxes incurred? ships in time?

i know theyre popular since people talk alot about it and have suggested it to me, and if its as good as people make it out to be, i might pick up some fatboys, tygon tubing and petra's biocide

All I know is if your ordering it from the states and its worth more than 20.00 you will get dinged on customs and duty for sure, as well as GST. There is only one loop around this, the item MUST be made in the USA! If its made there, then you wave all duties and fees, just have to pay GST on the value. If its not made in the US and you add it all up and include the fact that your paying US$ its really not worth it.
I've ordered from Petras and the shipping was quite fast. However, look at DirectCanada first before because customs is just a pain.
Quoc at Petras will work with you to help with the customs issue. Petras is excellent to work with. Whatever you do, never, and I mean never have it sent by UPS. They will charge you brokerage sometimes equal to what you paid for the product. Always send it by USPS. The problem of course is that the exchange rate is crap again so it might be better to simply wait.

If it is sold out at ncix it will be sold out by directcanada i.e. they're the same company.
