The Phenom II B50 is still up there. Maybe they should have just went with Phenom II X8.

Lol the Phenom x4 is a 125W chip itself. Can you imaging the wattage a x8 would need?

Im going to repost with a Crysis 2 benchmark and possibly a Battlefield 4 multiplayer one as well. (That ones gonna take some time) I have data point from a FX 6300 already and ill add in the Athlon too so ill add that in when i repost

Not really if they used 32nm. Take a look at the FX-8140 and 8300. AMD can make better quality chips but they went with lower quality with higher thermals, like now.

I usually throttle during the multithread bench if I go higher. I'll give it a try with less voltage and maybe I'll get lucky and it won't crash.

Speaking of cores, here it is will all cores enabled at 4.4GHz (summer clocks, and still hitting close to 60C):

Run the Phenom IIx6 using Cinebench 15. The gap between the FX chip and the Phenom IIx6 would be much lower.

Im going to do BF4 multiplayer testing tonight, I started earlier but i had vsync on

Have to start over. Gonna play 3 round of the same map with each frequency with FRAPS frame-rate recording. If anyone cares to join ill be on this server!
