omg the p2... for 80? unbelievable price

Nothing else is even close to worth buying. the P2 wins hands down. First generation phenoms suck. I had a 9950 and that thing was the top of the line phenom.

Oops i misread. Thought it said Phenom II 940. Even so, 80 dollars is a very good price on it

At that price, either the Ph II 910 or the Ph 9850. Personally I would go for the 910.

realize that the 910 is only OEM and cannot be bought... They are usually on HP and Dell computers if Im not mistaken

The X2s are old... about 4-5 years old. When Athlon 64 first came into the market, no intel chip could touch it.

When Intel came out with the duo, AMD's response to it was the X2. It couldnt touch the Intel...

So for 80 bucks, its not worth it. Its slighty faster than a E6600 but slower than a E6700.

I hope this helps you

The 3.0 GHZ Athlon... Are you refering to the 6000+?

The 910 or the 9850 would both be great at that price. The 910 would obviously be faster, and possibly even OC higher, but the 9850 isn't bad.

now even that makes sense
otherwise go for 910

How can a 65nm part have the same cache as a redesigned 45nm part?
