I've been trying to setup a dedicated physx card on a friend's amd pc.
he is using this board:

I can't get both cards working at the same time. I've tried everything from updating the bios. setting it to default, resetting the cmos etc. but when I use the nvidia card alone it works but when paired with his HD5850, windows can't detect it making it impossible to install any nvidia drivers at all.
any help will be greatly appreciated. TIA

EDIT:
no worries about the drivers, hacks. as you can see on my sig rig I got it working already. the prob is the nvidia card cannot be detected by windows when installed on the second pci-e slot.

Actually the nvidia driver disables physx if there are non nvidia cards present.
