What is this setting in the control panel of nvidia? Should it be enabled or disabled? What it does? and.. the last question.. Why everyone is having another video card just for the PhysX?

Yup, and people use a separate video card for PhysX just to take the load off of their main GPU.

It only an option really. You can just turn it on with one card provided you get good fps (40+) as it is. PhysX gets pretty heavy in certain instances of Mirror's Edge where there's tons of glass.
