Thanks for reading! If you've got any taste at all, you'll agree.
Thermaltake hasn't really been doing good with their cases lately, it seems like.

I would'nt mind seeing some pics if you have the time.
Yack

I'll take your words in consideration...

I'll try to go to a store and try it,check all the plastic feel.

I went and checked some of the online reviews and it got high praise from every one I read. Maybe you just got screwed. Is there any chance you could return it for a replacement? That blowtorch look you mentioned sounds like they were shooting plastic that hadn't been dried all the way.
Bit-Tech's Spedo was horribly fragile, as well, Bindusar.

Sadly what's written on the spec sheet hasn't been translated into the finished product and while the core steel chassis is well built and very solid, not to mention nicely finished and painted inside and out, the plastic components of the Spedo are a colossal let down with the build quality of a twenty year old Rover and in the case of the ATC plastic panelling, the usefulness of a chocolate heatsink.

We've spent the last few days with the Spedo, photographing and building our test system into the case, and the list of parts which have broken through general use is embarrassing. The case door handle (multiple times), two of the ATC thermal chamber panels, the drive bay catches (multiple times) and the case trim have all broken, snapped or simply come off in our hands and are prime examples of the poor quality plastic Thermaltake has chosen to adorn the case with. We hate to think how the Spedo would cope with extended use and multiple installs if this is the level of disintegration we've encountered in just a few days.
I knew the case was crap, and not only did Robilar confirm it, now aaronmonto did, as well.

I heard tall heatsinks don't fit like the TRUE and the advance package air duct things increase temps. Someone here did a review on it and hated it compared to his 1200.
Hmm u sure might not be judging it a little fast? mine breaths great with its 3 stock fans and one side intake fan. only thing i ever thought was plasticy was the HDD holders. Other than that this thing is oretty solid!

I don't know, before I went to my Phenom it kept my 6000+ at 24c with no exhaust or intake fans running only the CPU fans. Once I put my Phenom in there it idled at 30c @3.2Ghz, although since I went to XP Pro 32bit it idles a wee bit higher now
i.e. 40c @1.6GHz
. Overall I think the exterior of the case is very sturdy and well constructed, mine has the same blemishes on the Thermal chambers as yours but that's hardly something that bugs me. The side fan is too loud though which i fixed by installing a fan controller from an old Thermaltake VGA cooler.

Just to clear a few things up, tall heatsinks DO fit (Xigmatek HDT-S1283), and the side fan is absolutely silent. Now those are the least of my worries. I don't like how the toolless expansion slot clips don't fit over my video card. And how the door won't open without a firm punch. And how the whole front comes off with a slight tug. But the $100 restock/shipping is what kills me. It does look pretty damn kickass with a sound activated cathode and red neon. I wouldn't be able to get a better case for near $75 either, which is how much the fee would bring me down to.

I was a spaz when I got it. I wanted the build to be perfect. But testy imperfections aside, the case serves its purpose, and is still enough to wow my next-door neighbor. And it's massive

How can you even remotely compare the two?
