Greets folks,

I am using Pidgin 2.7.11 and I only have one gripe with it..file transfers via MSN in Pidgin are incredibly slow..files that I can send on the real MSN client in a matter of seconds take upwards of 5 minutes..

Anyone have any insight on this one?

yup. using a third party program to use the open ports of the msn chat protocol.

use msn live to transfer files, or use ftp or some sort of more legitimate file sharing tool.
