Hi people, im new to the forums =)

im currently oc'ing my 955 to 3600 by using only the multiplier in the BIOS, so far its stable (no prob playing cod4), i also set the memory timings with the box values via BIOS, load temperatures are ~53-56 on stock cooling, im only looking for some suggestion to take full advantage of my parts (if possible) without putting it to risk (im getting frame drops in cod4 with smoke and heavy action).

memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231303

cpuid shots (dunno why core voltage varies, i set it to 1.35 in the BIOS):

thanks in advance for helping this noob =)

Are you sure it's not your GPU and did you test your OC before hand to check if it's ok? there's several tests you can perform. and provide more details if possible.

As for your voltage just because you put 1.30 doesnt mean you'll use it like mine for example i put 1.3 and i only use 1.288

you should wait until you upgrade cooling, higher than 56C is risky imo

Agree, I would get an after-market cpu cooler before I would even start OC, I would suggest arctic cooling freezer rev 2, it's cheap and it does it's job

also, what do you use to test it for stability? prime 95 is probably the best one to check your temps and stability))
