Hey fellow pilots.

I was wondering if we could make a list of the BEST addons, freeware and payware, for the ULTIMATE flight sim experience. IVe had the game since it came out, and payed $70!!
at bestbuy. Ive had various addons, but i really want to go all out.

What i have already:

(payware)
Captain Sim 727
CLS DC-10
Real environment extreme
Fly Tampa KAI TAK scenery
IRIS F16D
PMDG 747
Wings of power b17
Wings of power world war II fighters

(freeware)
Space shuttle mod - very very nice, pm me for links
a couple of repaints for the stock 737

i really really want to fly some 757's and 767's, any suggestions?

If you want to fly other planes like the 757 and 767 you should be able to find em somewhere online shouldn't you? I think i used to get my mod planes off of simviation.com, they have a pretty good selection for free.

Captain Sim has both a 757 and 767. I have only seen the 57, and it seemed to be a frame whore. Captain Sim does very well with their aircraft. They have very nice features and great detail. I know there is a company called LevelD that makes at least a 767, possibly a 57 as well. Google LevelD 767 and you will find it. I have heard nothing but great reviews on the LevelD stuff.

As far as looks, Ground Environment Extreme looks amazing. I have yet to try it, but you should definitely look into it. If you fly in an area more than others, try finding Mega Scenery for that area. If you like photo real scenery, but want it for free with the cost of losing your trees and buildings then try TileProxy.

Let me know if you are looking for certain aircraft or addons. If I have heard of any Ill let you know. Back to the 757 and 767, Project OpenSky does a a lot of commercial addons for FS, they are freeware and often dont have a virtual cockpit though.

Id like to know how good that space shuttle mod is...it doesn't let you go in space though right?

If you're into bigger aircraft, check out Capitain Sim's C-130...really detailed model.

For GA aircraft, take a look at the Carenado Cessna 172N and 182RG, and then the Piper Cherokee 180.

EDIT: Also, if you haven't found us yet, we have a pretty good sized FS club!
