1st post guys, so yeah a big hi to everybody.
I'm getting itchy for a new system build and I wanted to focus on something small, powerful and power efficient to be used as my main rig and for LANs. Will be buying it when tax comes my way, thoughts?

Also I'm using a couple of 1.5TB drives I got a while ago for cheap

What about a H80/H100 instead of the D14? If you did use the H100, you'd have to remove the fan controller though.

According to the BitFenix rep, the Megahalem fits, so I don't think the D14 would have issues, unless you had a fan in the rear 120/140mm fan slot.

Yeah the D14 definitely fits, I checked mobo compatibility on Noctua's website, as for the case, the Overclock3D review of it shows Tom putting one inside the case.

I will of course be mounting the 120mm fan to the front of the cooler so the air is blowing towards the I/O plate, and will have just enough room to still use a rear exhaust in the case

Every time I look at that pic because it makes me chuckle so much, I mean, the cooler is bigger than the board. Mind you, I'm waiting for someone to try and put a CM V10 in the Prodigy. THAT would make me ROFL so hard I'd pass out from lack of oxygen.

Funny thing is, that would actually work quite well, as the "RAM" fan would pass all the way over the DIMMS and catch airflow coming from the bottom fan on the front. +1 to anybody that does it haha, that would surely be something to see in an ITX chassis!

Now that you put it that way, you have a good point. When I do my own Prodigy build, I'll borrow my mate's V10 and see if it fits

I was just having a dig at your original idea of running a h80. If I was to do that I'd be able to get the cheaper ASrock motherboard, and seeing as the Seasonic PSU I wanted was a tad premium for my liking, I decided instead to get a HX-650. You would probably also notice Corsair gear is fairly common in this build, so I also decided to spoil the H100 with those new Corsair rad fans, AND I get some sexy white trimmings with them to boot! and the case still comes within my budget of $1800! I'm so excited haha, I love this case!
