hi everyone, im thinking about using an original playstation case to make a little media pc (mini itx) im just wondering whether it would be feasible? i saw a mod a while back where some person had made a pc inside a snes...

Yes, it would be possible. But it's going to take a lot of time and effort. I remember the PC SNES mod, I believe it was "RetroGamer" who did it?

So throw in some laptop guts into the console casing?

Many external drives are completely USB-powered and have a pop up lid. You could wire one to the internal USB headers and hide it under the stock PS1 lid...?

thanks for that, i hadnt thought about that,

i saw on somewhere the internet this morning some playstation controller adaptor to usb, so i can use the original playstation controllers!

definitely possible, hell there are companies that make PC's to slot into your car's single DIN slot, so compared to that the PS1 should have plenty of room to play.
