Playstation 3 Coop Games

So, just bought a PS3 from Amazon this morning, with Infamous and Killzone 2.

What I am wondering is are there any good local coop games that me and my gf could play. Looking mostly for PSN games. We play Castle Cashers and the LEGO games on the 360. Mostly looking for things of the puzzle/platform variety. Was thinking about trying out LBP with her to see if she likes that, not sure about that.

Any other small PSN games suggestions?

Little Big Planet is a definite yes. RE 5 is good for Coop and there were some black friday deals that sold it for $20 today.

My gf liked this simple RPG called dark kingdom. Should only be like $10.

My wife and I play Dark Kingdom. Simple hack/slash. just like the old Gauntlet.

My wife also plays some Dynasty Warriors (do note thats the only two games she plays with me)

Depending on what sport youre into there are tons of great games. LBP is amazing. GH and Rock Band are fun with others.

LBP is your best bet. No shooting involved.

Shouldnt there be a filter in the PSN to look for coop games.
I swear there was, but the last time I went on PSN was last month.

if you want a regular coop game thats not on PSN you can try Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

I asked the same question after I hung my big Plasma and was told to buy Army of One and Resistance 2. I bought them along with MGS4, but haven't played any of them. However, I highly suggest grabbing MotorStorm or its sequel to play with 2 people! It's really fun!

I'll second a vote for PixelJunk Monsters. A fun little tower defense game that my 16 year old daughter and I have spent countless hours playing.
