I would get this If you plan to sli and oc your card more from stock

You might be able to find a 750tx for around the same price if you look around at other sites.

Yup! I am a fan of the Corsair 750TX....have one in my sig rig and have been VERY happy with both the PSU and the customer service. You didn't mention what you would need this for. Is it for your current rig? New build? What do you want to do with it?

This would help folks give you a more accurate assessment on something that would fit your needs.

Used the calculator and set all loads to 100% and went well over the top, extra dvd R/W, 10 usb devices and added Sli and it sayed 605W
and 471W without sli!
But as i don't plan on Sli, i think i'll get the Corsair 650TX

We have similar rigs...not the same but similar....I think you will be happy with Corsair. The 750TX has been rock solid for me and I am very satisfied with it. Like I mentioned before, the customer support has been outstanding and when I called had them on the phone within a couple of minutes...the techs were very knowledgeable and helped me on my build. Glad I could help ya out....I have yet to come across someone who has had a problem with the Corsair PSU line but there are probably some out there (I haven't seen them though). They are truly well built...I was impressed and still am. When I build another rig they will be in it for certain!

I read the review and every other word was "highly overspec'ed"
Sounds good to me

Just have to make up my mind if i'm going for the 650 or 750

I think if i can do it, i will go for the 750

But the GTX 285 SSC is £366 + the £100 for the 750

Unless i just go for the GTX 285 SC @ £320, and then i'll be within buget
