I really want to play borderlands online with my friends, but the problem is I can't host a game. My friend opened his ports on his router so we could play, but I don't understand how to do this. I have a Thomson Speedtouch 780 router if that helps.

Borderlands acts really wierd with port forwarding and such. I've tried in the past and it hasn't worked at all.

I'm currently using GameRanger, which basically does the same thing as the built in online.
