is it using more HDD will cause OC's fail?? i am using 3 HDD<br>
because my pc was hang when i oc my x2 4400+ to 2.6Ghz(235*11) 1.6v<br>
why?? n also move my movie file to pen drivers also will cause hang.<br><br>
spec as below<br><br>
x2 4400+ 89w<br>
abit an8 ultra<br>
OCZ ddr500<br>
tt tr2 550w<br>
80gb + 80gb + 120gb<br><br>

When does it hang? Boot? Or only big file transfer? Maybe try lower OC and see if it is problem.

why i saw sombody with stock voltage can get high OC but i cant??

I have 4 HDDs... 2 are in RAID0... I don't get any hanging. If it is large file transfers, make sure the files or destinations (esp if flash drive) are not corrupted.<br><br>
EDIT: Might be ram, run MemTest86...

have you checked your temperatures ? Check that with <a href="http://www.almico.com/speedfan431.exe" target="_blank">Speedfan</a><br>

dual cores use alot more power than single core cpu's and some single core cpus will use less voltage than others just luck of the draw

Drop that V-core. You shouldnt have a mild overclock like that with that Much V-core. Just see if you can get it stable. <br />
<br />
No having More HDDS'S wont make your system more suseptible unless they are SATA drives which sometimes dont agee with overclocks as there operating frequency gets changed causing instability.

</div>With 1:1 wouldn't your RAM be at 235 ("x2 4400+ to 2.6Ghz(235*11) 1.6v")? Not trying to be picky or irritating, just want to get all the facts down. Either way the settings seem okay. Time to try what stevemc and gravity said: run Memtest. Then post back <img src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" class="inlineimg" />

Maybe lower the v core and overvolt.That's the way I have mine @ 2.7,1.325 in Bios and overvolt enable.
