We've already got HDTune results so I thought I'd try something different.

Download CrystMarkDisk from here: http://crystalmark.info/download/ind...rystalDiskMark

Then run the default test (5 tests/100MB/'your drive') by clicking 'ALL' and post your screenshot.

Please post details of your setup, i.e, raid config, harddrive size, etc

I'll start us off...

Single G.Skill Titan 256GB SSD

Sequential Read: 226.0
Sequential Write: 158.3

512K Read: 203.6
512K Write: 72.87

4K Read: 18.79
4K Write: 1.995

Quad RAID0 - 320GB WD Caviar AAKS

Sequential Read: 282.0
Sequential Write: 325.0

Random 512K Read: 71.20
Random 512K Write: 84.35

Random 4K Read: 1.439
Random 4K Write: 8.199

those random reads/writes are horrible on HD's...hopefully SSD's will drop in price by a lot once it's more mainstream...the sooner the better

uhh i think i broke it?!? ^_^

its one of a few things for sure..

A: w7's caching the test..
B: perc 5/i is caching the test..
C: my setup pwns you!

Sequential Read : 714.384 MB/s
Sequential Write : 685.120 MB/s
Random Read 512KB : 680.101 MB/s
Random Write 512KB : 618.660 MB/s
Random Read 4KB : 60.392 MB/s
Random Write 4KB : 53.396 MB/s

for those whom do not wish to look at sig, perc 5/i with 512MB cache stick, 4x 36GB sas 15K 3.5's in raid5
