switch to ATI. They typically use much less power than a comparable Nvidia card.

With your psu, i would suggest the ATI 5770. Sells for $100 almost everywhere now and runs most games on high settings, considering your monitor is only 1366x768.

I'd get a GTS450 ... the 430 is pretty low-end. Your PSU should be okay with a GTS450.

definitely GTS 450.
although at this price point and power level i would recommend HD 5770, but you indicated you don't like AMD. (i haven't experience AMD ever before so i can't really defend them)
enjoy.

I can't really find anything on that power supply, but the best card you could run on a good 350W power supply would be a HD6850. They consume ~20 watts more than a HD5770, around the same as a GTS450, but it will perform along side of a GTX460.
The best nVidia card you're probably going to be able to get away with is a GTS450.

I think it would be better for you to go with a GT240.
The 8800 GT isn't a bad card, but it'll eat up your psu. lol

The GT240 is much more power conservative. You can also find them for around $50 new/35 used.
