Hi, i was wondering if you can plug in two sets of speakers, i got an ASUS P8P67 MOBO which has 8 channel audio. I've going to get a logitech z523 and i've already got an ancient mini hifi system ( sony MHC-RG55). Would it be possible to hook up both to have 4.1 configuration?

Sure, provided that sony system has auxiliary inputs. I see no reason why that wouldn't work.
