It's a stupid cooler, but a great deal nonetheless.

Aw crap its the 9800gtx+ I wanted but I just saw the benches for the GTS250. Should I wait for the GTS250 price to go down (before its even out
)...?

Ouch

Yea its the same g92 but if it's taking up less space, runs better and faster, I can wait for a price drop (hopefully around April after following Ati's new mid-range).
Now if they brought back the $95 9800gtx+ I'll have to think on it

If anyone wants CoD: World at War, this card is all you!

I don't know about "massively" but I'm sure I could fix that

"Although its base clock speeds remain the same as the 9800 GTX+â€"738MHz for most of the GPU, 1836MHz for the shaders, and 1100MHz (or 2200 MT/s) for the GDDR3 memoryâ€"the GeForce GTS 250 is a physically smaller card, at nine inches long rather than 10.5", and it has but a single six-pin auxiliary power connector onboard.

The reduction in power connectors is made possible by a new board design that cuts power consumption sufficiently to make the second power input superfluous. Although, we should note, Nvidia rates the GTS 250's max board power at 150W, right at the limits of the PCI Express spec for this power plug configuration."

from techreport.com

so yeah same clock, draws less power... sounds like it may not pull the juice in to oc as high as a 9800? any guesses?
150w is probably a higher than reality figure. and isnt the evga 9800gtx+ rev 2 9" and has 1 pci-e connector? so is it the same?
The man who designed the cooler must've thought: "Hmm maybe I'll recirculate the heat from the card in the case instead of pushing it out of the holes at the back".

Nice find, wish I could've waited longer to buy this instead of the 9800GT.
uh btw.. why is l m f a o censored? ***** that was stupid of pny
