There was a news article recently that said 50% of gamers are women. A lot of people denied this is the case, so I was curious what percentage of people in the PC gaming section that consider themselves as gamers are actually women.

Yeah, news article is definitely referring to all platforms, plus all of the internet flash games and I bet they're including all the app games as well. Don't get your hopes up kid, those numbers are coming from all the 11 y/o's playing Angry Birds and Draw Something.

Considering this is an Over Clocking website, I doubt there are that many girls on here anyway. Heck, I doubt there are that many people under the age of 25 on here, as most of those are probably on their iCrap.

But there are lots of girls in gaming.....mostly playing FarmVille, Sims or MyLittleBarbie. J/K

BTW: I used the Play EQ2, and I actually met a GIRL on their! Talked to her over TeamSpeak and even on the phone a few times. She was my guild leader (because once we found out she was a girl, you know...1 in a million on EQ we just had to make her our guild leader so we could show off to the other guilds)
