Can I hook my Samsung LN40B550 40" 1080p LCD HDTV up to my sig rig via DVI-to-HDMI?

I would like to be able to switch between the TV and the Monitor.

I have a DVI-to-HMDI cable attahed to HDMI1 input on the TV and the DVI end of the cable to the top DVI output port on the master GPU.

There seems to be no settings in the nVidia Control Panel to switch outputs.

I'm doing it wrong, Yes?

P.S. I realise that I can use the splitter provided with the HDTV output. Is that the only way?

Thanks for your time.

Oh, oops, I appear to have misunderstood the question at first.

Are you trying to use just one of these monitors at a time?

If so, I'm sure that you can just change the monitor that you want to display on by going to "Display Settings" or something similar when you right click on the desktop.

Yes you can do that too. But what if the two dont have the same native resolution? It wont work then Im thinking. You are just going to get a black screen...
