Possible (vga)BIOS problem?

I was messing with my 4870's bios last night everything was fine i was able to do tests etc and rebooted several times without problem.After clearing mobos cmos it didnt boot. Processor is heating up vga is heating up but no show... this is a possbile vga bios problem right ? I dont have any opportunity to try it on another mobo atm cause crashed 2 other mobos too and its holiday time in Turkey

I have a simular issue. I did put in another video card and my other video card worked ok for a while then it suddenly started freaking out. I hope my mother board isn't burning out video cards. I tried my 4870 on another system and it wouldn't work on it either.

i ll get a cheap test card today for this kind of purpose and try it out

i thnk its cause of vga when i take out all the rams its not heating up with rams its heating but no show imo its vga we ll see i am going to get a 5770 from a local dealer
